Cute Little Pumpkin

This card features CC Designs Sugarplums Pumpkin Emma from 7 Kids College Fund. I thought she’d be perfect for this fall-themed card.

I have been working on cards this week. I plan to sell cards and copic colored images at Barbara’s Christmas Crop in November. I’ll probably have this card for sale there. Although I don’t have much time to do anything after school, I have been able to color an image or two while watching a show with Joey. Then I can make the cards on the weekend!

I am entering this card into two challenges.
The 7 Kids College Fund challenge this week is A Sketch.

I love working with sketches because it really makes me think outside the box. I tend to go for boxes and rectangles when making my cards. Sketches make me think or different shapes =)

I am also entering this card into the Copic Creations Challenge this time. Challege #35 is shading on or around the image. If you like making cads, check out these challenges for the chance to win some fantastic prizes.

3 Day Crop!

Althought I could only go for two days (and Friday night), I had an amazingly fun and productive weekend at Barbara’s three day crop. She throws the best crops – always plays fun games with tons of great prizes. I earned much more than I spent to attend the crop.  She’s amazing.

I got a lot done. 2 layouts, 1 card, and 1 decorative piece about my doggies. I am going to be listing 1 layouts on ebay this week, and the other one next week. I entered one of the layouts into the layout contest and won 2nd place and a GREAT prize- a BoBunny scrapbook class kit. Barbara also let me take my cards that I have made so far, and I sold almost all of them! She advised me to make more for the christmas crop in November, and I plan to! I love making stuff and whenever I can make a little money to fund my hobby I am really excited!

Anywho, here are pictures of the layouts I got done and the card is listed in the previous post.

7KCF Challenge!

After spending a long, productive day at a crop I am happy to say that I can enter another 7KCF challenge! I actually managed to get a lot done, and have a ton of fun!

Here’s the recipe for the challenge:

  • 1 image carried by 7 KIDS COLLEGE FUND
  • 2 designer papers
  • 3 flowers
  • 1 sparkly item

I have combined some of the things (my flowers are sparkly!) and  I have used more than 2 DP’s.  The image is Love Lolita Pumpkin by CC Designs. I love CC Designs images and 7KCF has a great selection.

Halloween

The month or two approaching halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. Why? I love halloween themed things an I love love love candy!! For scrapbookers, halloween is such a fun time of year because of all the GREAT products they come out with at crafts stores. K&Company has come out with some of the cutest halloween papers I’ve seen yet. I bought some Tuesday (with money I didn’t have) hoping I could use them in a layout. I stayed up pretty late last night working on a layout I’ll be listing tonight on ebay. The three I mentioned in my last post already have bids (sooo excited about that..I normally don’t get bids until the last minute). I am notcing a lot of repeat customers lately, which is good. I kind of also feel pressured to do great stuff now, not wanting to dissapoint them! Anywho, here is my newest layout. Now I need to finish school work and cleaning, since I goofed around last night instead of getting my work done first.

Labor Day

After a really long weekend I am proud to say I have managed to put together three, yes three, layouts. There have been three consecutive late nights and tons of Spark energy drink in my system.

Wish me luck!
